2015 Devenger Pointe Community Meeting Results

Hello Devenger Pointe residents. The annual community meeting was held last month on February 10. Please have a look at the highlighted results of the meeting below.

Meeting Highlights

    • Financials as of January 31, 2015:

      • Expenditures exceeded money collected by $207.02 (for the period 2/1/2014 - 1/31/2015)

      • Sign insurance cost increased $49 ($527 to $576)

      • $520 used to trim trees blocking the street lights

      • Motion passed to hire a professional landscaping company (Felicity Flowers) to manage the planter around the entrance sign. Annual cost will be $848. The Grybowski family will continue to be paid $100 annually for providing water to the sign landscape.

    • Organizational Updates

      • The Devenger Pointe Architectural Committee (AC) will continue to their roll as outlined in the Restrictive Convenants

      • The Devenger Pointe Special Tax District (STD) will continue to exist as governed by Greenville County

      • The Devenger Pointe By-Laws will be suspended

      • The Devenger Pointe Homeowners' Association will (president, vice president, treasurer, & secretary) will no longer exist

      • An annual community meeting will continue to be held but no longer called the "HOA Meeting." The new name of the meeting will be the "Devenger Pointe Community Meeting."

      • Greg Kazian will now hold the position of Treasurer of the Devenger Pointe Special Tax District

    • Committee Elections

    • Danny McPeters – reelected to the Architectural Committee

    • Greg Kazian – Nominated to the DP STD (replacing Mary Riley who moved away in 2014)

    • Lee Kazian – Reelected to the DP STD

    • Gail Randall – Reelected to the DP STD

    • March 28, 2015 - Devenger Pointe Easter Egg Hunt

    • April 25, 2015 - Devenger Pointe Yard Sale and BBQ/Picnic

    • The Annual Harvest / Halloween event date will be announced closer to early October
